What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Price is all-inclusive, everything is included at no extra charge. Your quote is what you pay, there is zero hidden or additional cost for extras. I supply all the equipment that will be needed to entertain you and your guests--period.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we are in contact, we'll discuss your event, your needs, and your musical selection. We'll set a date and time. I'll arrive no less than 1 hour early to make sure that the set-up is flawless and I have everything I need. I'll keep the crowd entertained throughout your special occasion with great clean music, dance floor lighting, MC'ing, interactive line-dances, and fun! At the end of the event, I'll thank everyone for attending and breakdown my set making sure I leave the space clean and organized just as it was before I arrived. You and your guests will thank me for a great time!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 12 years of professional dj experience. I attend various music shows and attend seminars to make sure that my business is current. More Importantly, I often listen to the feedback of my clients to determine the flow of their event. With each event, I challenge myself to make every event even greater than the last one!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
DJ'ing has been an interest of mine for many years. Growing up, I've always been the family member who has been asked to manage the music for all our big events. I developed a talent and a passion for playing music that moves crowds. I've been growing better and better at it ever since!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have played music for large and small wedding receptions, clubs, sweet sixteens, school proms, church functions, dances, outdoor events, showers, parties, and many other types of events. I’ve played in museums and art shows, and street fairs. Dj K. Wah! is one professional DJ who is versatile, innovative, and fresh!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always be open minded about the service that you are looking for and be open to suggestions from your pro.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Plan in advance. Make sure you have your date, start and end time, number of guests, and location of your venue secured. Know the general demographics of your crowd and be able to describe them. Gather examples of typical songs that your crowd might want to hear so that your pro can be sure to have them available at your event.
